Scottsdale Professional Accounting is a family-owned accounting firm based in Arizona that partners with across all industries, both locally and nationally.
Founded by mother-daughter team, Sharon and Sarah Stewart offer clients over 50 years of combined accounting experience and expertise, with the goal of not only helping businesses keep accurate and complete financial records, but equipping business owners with the knowledge, information, and data required to overcome financial challenges, make important business decisions, and achieve financial growth.

Unlike many bookkeeping and accounting firms who focus on acquiring as many clients as possible, and as a result can only offer limited, standard services, Scottsdale Professional Accounting stands apart by creating a completely tailored service plan that is cost-effective and unique to each client's set of needs. Because of this, we are selective about who we partner with, while limiting the number of clients we have, to ensure we can dedicate the time needed to service each client thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner.

SHARON STEWART,
CO-FOUNDER
With over 40 years of extensive accounting experience, including a decade-long position as an executive controller, and a focused interest in financial statement analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, Sharon is a strategic partner who works closely with business owners and senior executives who want to gain a comprehensive understanding of their company's financial statements, while identifying financial challenges, and creating forward-facing financial visibility.

After earning a bachelor's degree from Walsh College of Accountancy & Business Administration in 1979, Sharon worked for notable companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield and Bank of America before successfully building a portfolio of clients as an independent accountant.

As the co-founder of Scottsdale Professional Accounting, Sharon works primarily with legal firms, physicians, consultants, marketing agencies, and other service-based companies, and is QuickBooks ProAdvisor and HIPAA certified.
SARAH STEWART,
CO-FOUNDER
With a bachelor's degree in business and over 10 years of working closely with Sharon as an executive bookkeeper, Sarah partners with medical, legal, and other service-based companies to ensure all financial activity is recorded accurately and completely, while providing accounting support and liaising with the company's tax preparer.

Sarah has a specialized interest in bookkeeping and accounting for medical and health-related companies and has successfully established a portfolio over the past decade of clients who provide services such as anesthesiology, chiropractic, dentistry, dermatology and medical aesthetics, mental health, naturopathic, obstetrics and gynecology, and sober living and recovery.

Sarah is the co-founder of Scottsdale Professional Accounting and is QuickBooks ProAdvisor and HIPAA certified.
